Hirfa ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile marketplace that connects customers in Syria with skilled local craftsmen. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Hirfa application.

📋 Information We Collect

• Phone number — used for account creation and OTP verification via WhatsApp (powered by Talkalize)
• Full name — displayed on your profile to other users
• City and area — used to match job posts with nearby craftsmen
• Job posts and descriptions — content you create when posting a job request
• Bid amounts and messages — offers submitted by contractors on customer job posts
• Work photos — images uploaded by contractors to showcase their portfolio
• Job photos — images attached to job posts or completed work
• Device token — used to deliver push notifications about bids, messages, and job updates
• Ratings and reviews — feedback left after a job is completed

🔒 How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity and authenticate your account via WhatsApp OTP
• To match job posts with craftsmen who serve that city, area, and trade category
• To enable direct in-app communication between customers and contractors
• To send push notifications about new bids, messages, and job status updates
• To display contractor profiles, ratings, and work history to customers
• To improve the platform and resolve technical issues

🤝 Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your information may be shared in the following limited ways:

• Your job post details (title, description, location, budget) are visible to registered contractors on the platform
• Contractor profiles (name, skills, city, rating, work photos) are visible to customers
• OTP messages are delivered via Talkalize (WhatsApp Business) — your phone number is used solely for account verification
• We may disclose information if required by applicable Syrian law or legal process

Your data is stored on secured servers. We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Photos are stored using secure cloud storage.

👤 Your Rights

• You can edit your profile information at any time from within the app
• You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
• You can disable push notifications from your device settings at any time
• You can withdraw any bid or cancel any job post at any time before completion

👶 Children's Privacy

Hirfa is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Hirfa after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
